I'm very excited about the film because, its not the kind of film that you regularly see from Nollowood, so its different and it
captures the emotion that we really need to see, it captures the story that we really need to be talking about and that is the story of
insurgency.

Milkmaid is a kind of movie that doesnt just entertain you but educate you, enlightens you and also expose your mind to a lot of things
beyond what your eyes can see.

As a Nigerian, I couldnt help but feel very sadden about what was going on in the North-East, and I felt as a film maker
I had the responsibility at least make a contribution in terms of what I felt was happening over there.
All we read about is the satistics of how many people died in the papers, you dont know their names, you dont knw where they came from,
what they aspired too as human-beings, we in a very little way try to use the film to at least put some flesh, put some faces and some
emotion about who this people are.
Desmond Ovbiagele, Writer, Director, Producer9 January 2021
